Saying goodbye to my best friend

On February 15th, my best friend and guardian, Moe, will be euthanized. His medicine no longer works to control his pain. He has been my companion for the past 4 years and even though it's hard to let him go, it's the kindest thing I can do for him.

My grandmother always used to say, "Some times the kindest thing we can do is let them go. In doing so we take their pain and make it our own so that they can have peace."

(((hug)))

I'm sorry for your impending loss.

Hi Libby,
This is Heather Deem Tyler.. and I grew up on the farm. My father,Dr. John R. Deem built the barns for his horses many years ago. I was so happy to see that it is now a horse rescue-very cool!
I actually stopped by about two years and there was your buddy being a very good guard dog! I'm sorry that you lost him so soon. There is nothing like losing a beloved animal.
I would love to stop by and meet you sometime and see the place.
Are you around on the weekends?
